In keeping with our heritage, Bradley's Jewellers put the customer at the heart of everything we do. From the smallest charm, to the ring that announces to the world that ‘they are the one’, we put the same emphasis on making the experience perfect. This is what forms our three, core values.
That starts with our extensive range of products: all of our diamonds and gemstones are hand selected by the members of the Bradley family. They are then mated to the perfect design and set in the most appropriate precious metal, which is then manufactured by British craftsmen using traditional techniques from to ensure the highest quality.
We invest in our team, so to ensure that they are knowledgeable and professionally qualified to advise on all aspects of jewellery; from diamonds to coloured gem stones, from pearls to watches & silverware. All of our staff in our Low Petergate store are qualified to JET standard by our governing body, the National Association of Jewellers (NAJ).
We have exceptionally high standards & strong values. We are personally dedicated with a strong family presence across all levels of the business, including a family member within each store. We support the British manufacturing community from a tradition that through time has shaped our values: excellence, loyalty and attention to detail. It is what our customers have come to expect from us in over 50 years of service and it is what makes our customers return to our stores: this is the Bradley’s Difference.
Our 500-year-old, Grade II Listed Building is located in the heart of Low Petergate, overlooked by the spectacular Gothic Cathedral, which is York Minster – the oldest Gothic building in England with the largest stained glass, Rose Window in Europe. The building itself was a former apothecary, which has today been beautifully restored by Mr. Bradley to its magnificent Dickensian stature: from the original monochrome façade, to its intimate low ceilings, wooden beams and oak-panelled splendour. This quirky little trove of treasures and trinkets results in a truly, unique and romantic shopping experience.
