This 18ct yellow gold Fabergé Yorkshire Rose brooch mirrors the shape of the heraldic White Rose of York, which has become an enduring symbol of the region.

The emblem is decorated with hand-painted white and green enamel and set with a central, brilliant-cut yellow sapphire of 0.20 carats and five round brilliant-cut diamonds with a total weight of 0.20 carats (F-G colour, VS+ clarity).

The outer leaves are brought to life with responsibly mined pear-cut Zambian emeralds, by a world-leading miner and marketer of coloured gemstones, Gemfields. Together, these vibrant green gemstones weigh 0.97 carats.
