The York Rose motif holds a special meaning for our Founder, Kay Bradley, who designed the collection. It pays homage to Kay's home city, the beautiful city of York and the five regions of Yorkshire, each represented by one of the petals which make up the rose. This historical symbol of the city can be found painted on the wall of our shop, housed in a 700-year-old Grade II Listed Building, as well as the Rose Window at York Minster.
